The Kreg router table works well with most of the routers currently available. This is because the table has a universal plate that is attached to the tabletop.
If you’re looking to buy a new router to fit your Kreg router table then here are a few famous routers that work perfect with Kreg router tables. The most popular ones seem to be the DeWalt DW618 and the Bosch 1617EVSPK. There are also a few others that work well, but these two seem to be the most popular.

What Routers Are Compatible with Kreg Router Table?
If you’re looking for a router to use with your Kreg router table, you’re lucky. Many routers are compatible with Kreg router tables, this is because of Kregs universal router table insert plate. You can drill your own holes in the plate to suit your router, so as long as the router you have is smaller then 235mm x 298mm (from a birds eye perspective) then it will fit the kreg router tables. It needs to be smaller in order to fit through the cut out in the table when mounting the insert plate.
The universal plate comes with 2 sets of moulded drill patterns as well as target style set of concentric circles to help align and centre any router. Which means its compatible with almost any router on the market.

How easy is it to mount a router to kreg router table?
In truth its pretty straight forward either way but if you’re using one of the predrilled insert plates then mounting couldn’t be easier.
How to mount router to kreg router table?
To mount the predrilled plate you simply align the holes on the plate to the holes on the router and drive in the screws. Then mount the plate into the table and your away.
To mount the universal plate, you place the router on top of the router plate making sure to have the underside of the plate showing. Then using the concentric ring pattern on the plate you need to align the router to centre it on the plate. Once you’ve done this mark the mounting holes of the router onto the plate. You then need to drill holes through the router plate, making sure the holes are just a bit bigger then the mounting screws you’re going to be using. Then flip the plate over and counter sink back though the holes you’ve drill, enough to sink the heads of the screws. Once this is all complete align the holes you’ve drilled with the mounting holes on the router and drive the screws in, then drop it into place and fix into the router table.
